Deck overview

This is a mono-blue copy-control deck helmed by Orvar, the All-Form. The primary game plan is to use cheap targeting cantrips (Shadow Rift, Cerulean Wisps, etc.) to trigger Orvar's ability, creating token copies of high-value permanents such as Peregrine Drake, Solemn Simulacrum, or Hullbreaker Horror. The deck also packs a dense suite of clone effects (Clone, Phyrexian Metamorph, Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, etc.) to multiply its best threats. The main win condition is assembling infinite mana-either via Isochron Scepter + Dramatic Reversal with several mana rocks, or by looping Peregrine Drake copies with Orvar and a cantrip-then drawing the entire deck with Archmage Emeritus and Archmage of Runes and closing with a bounced board via Hullbreaker Horror or a massive token army from Talrand, Sky Summoner. The commander's copy ability is a powerful value engine, but the deck can still function without it through its many independent clone spells.
