Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Gruul go-wide aggro deck helmed by Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald. The core strategy leverages impulse-draw effects—cards exiled to be played for a limited duration—to fuel constant resource replenishment while triggering Faldorn to generate a wide army of 2/2 green Wolf tokens. Supported by high-density one-mana dorks and enchantments, Faldorn consistently lands on Turn 2 and begins generating wolves on Turn 3. The deck transitions into lethal pressure around Turn 5 by deploying team-wide power multipliers like Beastmaster Ascension, Return of the Wildspeaker, or Craterhoof Behemoth, closing the table over two combat rotations by Turn 7. While resilient against single-target removal due to steady card flow, the deck relies heavily on creature combat and remains vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers unless shielded by cards like Heroic Intervention.
