Deck overview

This Izzet deck leverages Bria, Riptide Rogue to turn cheap noncreature spells into lethal combat steps. By granting prowess to the entire board and making creatures unblockable whenever noncreature spells are cast, Bria transforms small utility creatures like Stormcatch Mentor, Coruscation Mage, and Balmor, Battlemage Captain into potent attackers. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with mana rocks and low-curve creatures, then deploys Bria around Turn 4 or 5. On Turn 6, chaining low-cost cantrips, burn, and combat buffs triggers multiple prowess buffs per creature, pushing heavy unblockable damage against one opponent at a time. The deck also features secondary burn triggers, card draw from second-spell payoffs like Kraum, Violent Cacophony, and graveyard recursion via Mizzix's Mastery. While highly explosive in combat, the deck is vulnerable to board sweepers and requires careful hand management to sustain spell velocity.
