Deck overview

This Selesnya deck showcases an exhibition vanilla-matters strategy led by Jasmine Boreal of the Seven. By running 16 creatures with no abilities alongside dedicated payoff cards like Muraganda Petroglyphs and Ruxa, Patient Professor, the deck turns simple beaters like Leatherback Baloth and Indomitable Ancients into formidable threats. Jasmine provides two valuable roles: tapping for two mana to accelerate textless creatures ahead of curve and granting them pseudo-unblockability against any creature with abilities. Card advantage engines such as Elemental Bond, Guardian Project, and Toski, Bearer of Secrets keep hands full as creatures enter or connect in combat. The primary path to victory involves assembling a wide board of vanilla creatures, powering them up with Beastmaster Ascension, Unnatural Growth, or Akroma's Will, and marching past opposing blockers. While highly resilient in casual combat environments, the deck lacks stack interaction, tutors, and fast combo finishes.
