Deck overview

This is a mono-black aristocrats deck helmed by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The plan is to flood the board with disposable creatures and tokens, sacrifice them for value, and drain the table through stacked death triggers. Sephiroth accelerates that loop: his front face sacs for cards, drains on every death, and transforms after the fourth trigger into a flying threat that creates a permanent drain emblem and draws deep on attack. Primary wins are infinite sacrifice loops pairing free or mana-positive outlets with recursively returning bodies and drain payoffs (Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, The Meathook Massacre). Secondary paths include devotion drains off Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Bolas's Citadel life-casting, and edict locks via Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos. The deck is highly synergistic, low-to-the-ground, and wins by turning every death into irreversible life-total damage.
