Deck overview

This Azorius deck executes an aggressive Voltron strategy centered on Wraith, Vicious Vigilante. Wraith provides an exceptional combat baseline as a three-mana commander with innate double strike and unblockability. The deck exploits these abilities by tutoring and cheating high-stat equipment and auras onto Wraith, particularly Colossus Hammer, All That Glitters, and Idolized. By boosting Wraith's power to 11 or higher, a single unblocked swing deals 22 lethal commander damage, eliminating an opponent in one combat step. The game plan unfolds by deploying early ramp, tutors, or cost-cheating enablers like Sigarda's Aid and Puresteel Paladin, casting Wraith on turn 3, and delivering the first elimination on turn 4. A robust Azorius interaction suite—featuring free countermagic like Fierce Guardianship, silence effects like Grand Abolisher, and phasing protection via Teferi's Protection—shields the commander against disruption while it systematically eliminates the remaining opponents across consecutive turn cycles.
