Deck overview

This Boros deck is an aggressive tribal token deck commanded by Commander Mustard. The strategy focuses on establishing early Soldier presence through low-cost token generators and creatures, then casting Mustard to grant the entire army vigilance, trample, and haste. This enables immediate combat pressure while keeping up defense. The deck scales its damage output using wide anthems like Shared Animosity, Cathars' Crusade, and Coat of Arms, alongside enter-the-battlefield burn effects such as Impact Tremors and Warleader's Call. Card velocity is sustained through combat-triggered draw engines like Firemane Commando and Chivalric Alliance. To survive sweepers, the list packs a robust suite of cheap, instant-speed protection spells including Boros Charm, Dawn's Truce, and And They Shall Know No Fear. Without relying on infinite combos, the deck aims to overwhelm opponents through high-tempo combat damage and finish games by Turn 7.
