Commander: Dr. Madison Li

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai artifact/energy value deck built around Dr. Madison Li, who converts every artifact spell into energy counters and then spends that energy to pump creatures with haste, draw cards, and recur artifacts from the graveyard. The primary plan is to flood the board with cheap artifacts - cost reducers like Etherium Sculptor and Foundry Inspector, mana rocks, and Bobbleheads - to fuel a powerful midrange engine. Wins come from combat (Liberty Prime, Recharged, Sentinel Sarah Lyons, and Lightning Runner extra combats), the alternate condition of Mechanized Production, or massive card-advantage blowouts from Aetherflux Conduit and Mystic Forge. Mass recursion via Open the Vaults and Wake the Past gives the deck strong recovery. The commander is the central energy sink, but the 99 carries enough independent value (Bobblehead draws, Arcade Gannon, Sphinx of the Revelation) that the deck functions even if she is answered.
