Deck overview

This deck is a Boros midrange strategy that uses Quintorius, History Chaser to turn graveyard interaction into a wide, hard-hitting army of 3/2 Spirit tokens. The game plan focuses on casting the commander on Turn 4, then continuously filtering cards through its +1 ability while triggering graveyard exits with pieces like Containment Construct, The Ooze, Squee, Goblin Nabob, and flashback spells. Token multipliers like Anointed Procession and Mondrak, Glory Dominus compound the army's size, while anthems such as Cathars' Crusade and Warleader's Call amplify its damage. Defensively, the list shields its planeswalker commander with Deification, Onakke Oathkeeper, Vexilus Praetor, and Selfless Spirit. Once a critical mass of Spirits is assembled, Quintorius's -4 loyalty ability gives the entire Spirit army double strike and vigilance, enabling a decisive combat alpha strike around Turn 6 and closing out the game on Turn 7.
