Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Equipment Voltron strategy commanded by Captain America, First Avenger. The primary game plan focuses on casting low-cost Equipment tutors on the first two turns, deploying Captain America on Turn 3, and immediately attaching high-impact Equipment—such as Colossus Hammer, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, or Kaldra Compleat—at the beginning of combat on Turn 4 via his Catch ability. This creates an immediate 14+ power commander threat that puts opponents on a swift 2-turn lethal clock while enabling his Throw ability for instant-speed board control. The deck features dense functional redundancy in weapons and tutors, supplemented by powerful protection pieces like Robe of Stars, Deflecting Swat, and Mithril Coat to shield its commander. Without infinite combos, it closes games through sequential combat eliminations accelerated by extra combat steps and double strike.
