Women’s Wrongs by thingm0n

Format: Commander

Commander: Toph, the First Metalbender

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Toph, the First Metalbender turns every nontoken artifact into a land, enabling a lands-matter engine where the earthbend mechanic animates lands as hasty +1/+1-counter creatures. The primary plan is to ramp, flood the board with animated lands, and win through repeated double-striking combat. Toph, Earthbending Master is the hidden commander, gaining experience counters from landfall and converting them into ever-larger earthbends. The fastest kill is the Bumi, Unleashed + Liquimetal Coating/Torque loop: make Bumi an artifact-land so his own trigger animates him, then take infinite combat steps. Secondary paths use Avatar Kyoshi, Felidar Retreat, Scute Swarm, and Moraug to grow a wide board. The commander's role is both combo enabler and incremental land-creature generator.
