[Primer] Bello's Animated Army by user3452528

Format: Commander

Commander: Bello, Bard of the Brambles

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Gruul enchantress/artifact deck helmed by Bello, Bard of the Brambles, built entirely around turning every 4+ mana-value enchantment and non-equipment artifact into a 4/4 indestructible haste creature that draws a card on combat damage. The deck floods the board with high-MV enchantments - Purphoros, God of the Forge, Fiery Emancipation, Warstorm Surge, Nature's Will - and swings with an army of animated permanents. Primary wins come from amplified combat damage (Fiery Emancipation tripling, Purphoros, God of the Forge and Warstorm Surge pinging) and an infinite-combat loop with Aggravated Assault + Nature's Will, with Crackle with Power as a big-mana finisher fueled by Mana Echoes + Threefold Thunderhulk. Card draw comes from the enchantress package (Enchantress's Presence, Argothian Enchantress, Eidolon of Blossoms) and Bello's own combat triggers.
