Deck overview

This competitive Selesnya deck combines asymmetric creature stax with a fast, commander-centric infinite mana combo. Built around Brigid, Clachan's Heart // Brigid, Doun's Mind, the strategy utilizes dense low-mana dorks and tokens to rapidly scale Brigid's tap ability into a massive mana engine. Turn 2 stax pieces like Collector Ouphe and Drannith Magistrate bottleneck faster combo competitors, slowing the table down to Brigid's optimal pacing. On turn 4, the deck deploys an untap engine such as Umbral Mantle or Staff of Domination under impenetrable protection from silence effects like Grand Abolisher and Ranger-Captain of Eos. Generating infinite mana allows the deck to tutor and cast Walking Ballista or an overwhelming Finale of Devastation, immediately eliminating all opponents. In situations where Brigid is suppressed, backup lines utilizing Emiel the Blessed, Village Bell-Ringer, and Gaea's Cradle ensure resilient alternative paths to victory.
