Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Rakdos spellslinger burn deck commanded by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied. The primary game plan focuses on deploying Kuja early to generate Wizard tokens that deal damage to each opponent whenever noncreature spells are cast. By assembling four Wizards, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, doubling all damage dealt by Wizards. The deck utilizes low-cost mana rituals such as Dark Ritual, Rite of Flame, and Seething Song alongside continuous mana engines like Birgi, God of Storytelling and Storm-Kiln Artist to chain numerous noncreature cantrips and impulse draw spells in a single turn. With damage multipliers like Harmonic Prodigy and Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might amplifying each trigger, the deck delivers an explosive storm turn around Turn 5, burning out all three opponents simultaneously through noncombat damage. Robust removal spells protect life totals while graveyard recursion spells like Past in Flames ensure lethal inevitability.
