Zombie Druid by user5271617

Format: Commander

Commander: Teval, the Balanced Scale

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Teval is a land-recursion and zombie-token engine: attacking mills and can return a land, while every card leaving the graveyard makes Zombie Druids. The deck aims to self-mill to critical mass, then reanimate large threats and win with Jarad sacrificing Lord of Extinction. Secondary beats come from Avenger of Zendikar Plant armies plus Wonder flying, and from Living Death or Afterlife from the Loam mass reanimation. There is no true hidden commander, though Jarad and Kotis act as lieutenants. The deck is deliberately all-in on the graveyard, so grave-hate effects are its main danger, but it has a long, grindy late game.
