Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov enchantment control strategy commanded by Eriette of the Charmed Apple. The primary game plan revolves around playing cheap, disruptive Auras on opponents' key creatures to neutralize their abilities, force them to attack rival players via goad, and completely forbid them from attacking you. Meanwhile, enchantress engines like Sram, Senior Edificer, Mesa Enchantress, and Kor Spiritdancer maintain a full hand of resources. As your Aura count expands, Eriette drains substantial life from every opponent on each of your end steps while padding your own life total. Strong pillowfort cards like Sphere of Safety and Ghostly Prison make attacking you impossible, while premier phasing spells like Clever Concealment and Teferi's Protection shield your entire board from wipes. If Eriette is unavailable, massive power buffs from All That Glitters and 4/4 Angel tokens from Sigil of the Empty Throne provide a swift combat finish.
