Commander: Oloro, Ageless Ascetic

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Oloro is an Esper life-gain control deck that converts life total into cards and ultimately into a lethal Aetherflux Reservoir. The primary plan is to accumulate life through Oloro's command-zone upkeep, lifelink creatures, and life-gain doublers, then animate Aetherflux Reservoir with Sydri, Galvanic Genius so every 50-damage shot refunds 50 life. Secondary paths include Darien, King of Kjeldor token generation and Exquisite Blood/Bloodthirsty Conqueror drain effects. The commander's role is a passive life engine while in the command zone and a card-draw/drain engine once cast. The deck is control-oriented, using tutors, counterspells, and board control to assemble its combo.
