Deck overview

This five-color Superfriends control deck leverages Arzakon alongside a dense suite of 19 other planeswalkers to dominate the game through asymmetric resource attrition, pillowfort defense, and rapid loyalty acceleration. The early game focuses on ramping into all five colors and deploying defensive barriers like Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and Teferi, Time Raveler. On Turns 4 and 5, the deck transitions into board control by landing engine multipliers such as Oath of Teferi, Innkeeper's Talent, Carth the Lion, and Deepglow Skate. These multipliers allow planeswalkers to activate abilities twice per turn or enter within immediate reach of their ultimate abilities. Asymmetric sweepers like Toxic Deluge, Supreme Verdict, and Farewell keep opposing creature boards empty, protecting your planeswalkers from combat damage. The deck closes the game around Turn 7 through overwhelming planeswalker ultimates, direct burn from Arzakon and Commodore Guff, and Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God's game-ending abilities.
