Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is a focused kindred aggro-midrange strategy led by Captain America, Team Leader. The game plan revolves around casting the commander on Turn 3 and immediately following up with low-cost Hero creatures. Captain America grants every entering Hero immediate haste, vigilance, and a +1/+1 counter while growing himself, turning every subsequent creature drop into an immediate, evasive threat. The deck converts this aggressive board presence into sustained card advantage through combat-triggered draw engines like SP//dr, Piloted by Peni and Director Nick Fury. Critical onset occurs around Turn 5, when explosive combat force multipliers such as War Machine, Avenging Arsenal, Uncivil Unrest, and Akroma's Will double combat output to eliminate opponents in rapid succession. The strategy is reinforced by an elite suite of low-cost reactive interaction, asymmetric board bounces, and versatile phasing protection that reliably defends the creature swarm against sweepers.
