Commander: The Muckslinger Gang

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jund "power matters" deck is built around The Muckslinger Gang, a commander that turns every creature in your hand, library, and graveyard into a massive threat by giving them +3/+3 in those zones, and provides a further +3/+3 to all non-attacking, non-blocking creatures on the battlefield. The deck's core plan is to leverage that universal size increase to trigger a dense suite of "power 4 or greater" payoff cards-repeatable draw, ramp, and fight spells-while deploying cheap or midrange creatures that become lethal once the commander is online. The primary win paths involve generating a single enormous creature (Jumbo Cactuar or Mossbridge Troll pumped by Mossbridge Troll's activation) and then either winning through combat trample (via Garruk's Uprising or Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma) or converting that power into direct damage via Warstorm Surge and Fling. The deck is a value-driven midrange pile with powerful synergies but no fast mana or tutor support, making it a solid but not explosively consistent multiplayer performer.
