Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Dimir Ninja burn strategy led by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary plan starts on Turn 1 by casting a low-cost, evasive creature like Changeling Outcast or Ornithopter. On Turn 2, the deck uses Commander Ninjutsu for {U}{B} to put Yuriko onto the battlefield tapped and attacking, dodging commander tax and normal counterspells. Yuriko's combat damage trigger draws cards while draining each opponent for the revealed card's mana value. Top-deck manipulation cards such as Brainstorm, Sensei's Divining Top, Scroll Rack, and Vampiric Tutor maximize this damage by placing high-cost cards like Shadow of Mortality and Temporal Trespass on top of the library. Supported by free interaction like Fierce Guardianship, Deadly Rollick, and Flare of Denial, the deck quickly eliminates the entire table with unblockable combat pressure and group burn by Turn 4.
