Deck overview

This mono-red deck leverages Kratos, God of War to execute a fast, aggressive combat strategy supported by disruptive stax and extra combat chains. Fast mana and rituals deploy Kratos on early turns, granting universal haste to your entire board while threatening opponents with double strike and end-step burn for uncommitted creatures. Asymmetric control pieces like Blood Moon, Silent Arbiter, and Crawlspace lock down opposing mana bases and restrict attacking options, forcing opponents into uncomfortable combat choices. The deck quickly pivots into a decisive finish through stacked damage multipliers like Fiery Emancipation and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar or by chaining combat steps with Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Neheb, the Eternal, and Aggravated Assault. Reliable protection spells like Deflecting Swat and Commander's Plate safeguard key creatures during lethal attack windows, allowing the deck to close out the game rapidly across Turn 4 and Turn 5.
