Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Red spellslinger storm deck commanded by Zada, Hedron Grinder. The game plan revolves around generating a wide board of inexpensive creature tokens using cards like Dragon Fodder, Hordeling Outburst, and Young Pyromancer. Once Zada is on the battlefield, casting a 1-mana single-target cantrip such as Expedite or Ancestral Anger causes Zada to copy the spell for every creature on your board, drawing a massive burst of fresh cards for almost no mana. The deck then chains these draws into mana-positive rituals like Battle Hymn and Storm-Kiln Artist to keep casting spells throughout a single explosive turn. The sequence culminates in mass power boosts, trample, and double strike from cards like Fists of Flame and Team Tactics, overwhelming all three opponents in one combat phase. While weak to sweepers and containing little reactive removal, its sheer burst card flow and explosive Turn 5 lethality make it a formidable threat.
