Deck overview

This Grixis deck is a midrange combat deck built around Sauron, the Dark Lord. It grows one large Orc Army with amass triggers whenever opponents cast spells, then attacks to trigger the Ring tempts you and refills with Sauron's discard-your-hand to draw four. Secondary paths run in parallel: Wraith tribal with nine Nazgul, Lord of the Nazgul and Witch-king, Sky Scourge, and Treasure/Dragon pressure from Smaug the Magnificent and There and Back Again. Sauron acts as draw engine and Ward-protected blocker, not a combo piece. Lord of the Nazgul and Sauron, the Necromancer function as hidden commanders that can build a winning board even without Sauron.
