Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads an aggressive Boros tribal and artifact-combo deck that converts Dwarf deployment into massive Treasure generation and high-powered combat. The deck leverages low-cost Dwarves alongside token amplifiers like Academy Manufactor and Xorn to flood the battlefield with artifact tokens. This token hoard fuels two distinct victory paths: an explosive combat alpha strike where Thorin grants substantial power boosts to all Dwarves, and a deterministic instant-speed combo powered by Magda, Brazen Outlaw. By using Clock of Omens and an artifact Dwarf such as Metallic Mimic, Magda produces infinite Treasures and tutors Shivan Hellkite directly to the battlefield for game-ending damage. The list supports these plans with potent tutors like Dwarven Recruiter and Enlightened Tutor, while deploying defensive shields such as Deflecting Swat, Boros Charm, and Boromir, Warden of the Tower to protect its key assets from disruption.
