Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This is a lean Izzet storm deck helmed by Ral, Monsoon Mage // Ral, Leyline Prodigy, built to chain instants and sorceries into a critical-mass storm count. The primary plan is to deploy fast mana - rituals like Pyretic Ritual, Desperate Ritual, Rite of Flame, and Seething Song - refill with wheels (Wheel of Fortune, Windfall, Wheel of Misfortune) and recursion engines (Underworld Breach, Past in Flames), then finish with Grapeshot or Brain Freeze. Ral's front face discounts every instant and sorcery by {1}, accelerating the chain, and flips into a planeswalker that draws cards and deals damage. The deck is a 99-centric combo pile: all of its realizable win lines live in the 99, so Ral is an accelerant rather than a required piece. Secondary paths include Mind's Desire and incidental beats from Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer and Storm-Kiln Artist.
