Deck overview

Lyse Hext rewards a high count of cheap noncreature spells by reducing their costs, growing through prowess, and gaining double strike after the second spell each turn. The deck supports that plan with Monastery Mentor, Namor, Atlantean King, Hermes, Overseer of Elpis, and several evasive or cantripping spells. Enduring Curiosity, Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan, Teferi's Ageless Insight, and Monastery Siege provide additional card flow, but they are not assembled reliably with the primary board. Interaction is broad, including cheap creature removal, counterspells, graveyard hate, and protection. The main weakness is that the deck is a fair combat strategy without tutors or a compact win condition. It can create a threatening board around turn 7, but it normally needs several more combat steps to eliminate three opponents and has no reliable total lockout. Its best games use early ramp, deploy Lyse Hext, and convert cheap cantrips into tokens, cards, and protected attacks.
