Hey, Kitty Girl! by moxinova

Format: Commander

Commander: Y'shtola, Night's Blessed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Final Fantasy-flavored Esper deck is an incremental noncreature-spell drain deck built around Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. The primary plan is to deploy Y'shtola early, multiply her trigger with Papalymo Totolymo and the Transpose Wizard token, and use cost reducers like Lyse Hext and Alisaie/Alphinaud to chain multiple 3-plus-mana noncreature spells each turn. Secondary paths are Fandaniel's graveyard-based end-step life loss and Bolas's Citadel as a top-deck and sacrifice finisher. The Alisaie/Alphinaud partner pair acts as a hidden engine inside the 99, pairing discount with card draw. The deck wins by attrition and one large finish, not by fast combo.
