Deck overview

This mono-red deck is commanded by Thor, God of Thunder, a potent 5/5 flyer that converts every noncreature spell into direct damage scaled to its mana value while recurring key instants, sorceries, or Equipment from the graveyard upon entering. The deck accelerates through low-cost artifacts and rituals to deploy Thor on Turn 4, immediately transitioning into a high-pressure burn strategy on Turn 5. Damage amplifiers such as Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might, and Twinflame Tyrant dramatically enhance Thor's triggers and direct burn spells, turning modest removal into lethal bursts. Board control is maintained through flexible sweepers like Blasphemous Act and Fiery Confluence, which synergize with Toralf, God of Fury to redirect excess damage directly to opponents. While the deck possesses limited protection against stack interaction and enchantment removal, its high threat density and rapid damage output reliably close games by Turn 7.
