Tap that Bounce the dream by oldguymtg

Format: Commander

Commander: Gadwick, the Wizened

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Gadwick, the Wizened is the sole commander, with no hidden commander. The deck is a mono-blue spellslinger/control list that wins by chaining instant and sorcery spells. The primary plan is to slow the table with cheap bounce and counters, convert spells into card draw (Archmage Emeritus) and flying tokens (Talrand, Murmuring Mystic), then execute the Laboratory Maniac line: loop Archaeomancer with High Tide and Snap, drawing the deck and winning on the spot. Hullbreaker Horror and Tidespout Tyrant provide a secondary artifact-bounce loop that can generate infinite mana for a huge Gadwick. Gadwick himself is a flexible X-draw spell and a tapper that punishes opponents' permanents each time a blue spell is cast. The deck is highly interactive, but its 24-land mana base makes setup inconsistent.
