Deck overview

Codie, Vociferous Codex drives a five-color spell-slinger build that almost entirely avoids permanent spells. The deck uses cheap instants and sorceries for ramp, filtering, and interaction, then converts Codie's WUBRG activation into a free-cast engine. The primary path is a copy-spell storm: resolve delayed-copy triggers from Dual Strike, Teach by Example, Galvanic Iteration, Howl of the Horde, or Repeated Reverberation, then finish with a multiplied Not Forgotten for a Spirit army or Stream of Thought for mill. Codie is the engine, not the win condition. Reinterpret, Kari Zev's Expertise, and protection instants keep the lines alive. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built entirely around Codie's ability.
