Deck overview

This Azorius tap-control deck is helmed by Hylda of the Icy Crown, turning every creature tap into a flexible payoff: a 4/4 Elemental token, a team-wide +1/+1 counter, or a scry-and-draw. The deck is built around a dense redundancy of tap effects-over 30 cards that tap creatures-creating a synergistic engine that controls the board while generating incremental advantage. The primary win condition is combat damage from Hylda's tokens and other evasive threats, supported by board wipes that destroy tapped creatures (Sunblast Angel, Split Up) to clear the way. The deck has no infinite combos; it wins through sustained value and tempo.
