Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Dimir self-mill and graveyard-value deck built around both faces of Ludevic, Necrogenius // Olag, Ludevic's Hubris. The front face mills on entry and attack while Olag, Ludevic's Hubris threatens to become a huge copy of the best creature in the bin; the 99 is built to feed that plan with cheap surveil and mill like Consider, Opt, Thought Scour, Contingency Plan, and Notion Rain. From there the deck wins through combat: a trampling, equipment-backed Olag copy plus a midrange curve of big beaters (Bane of Bala Ged, Overseer of the Damned, Fear of the Dark), amplified by Infinite Reflection, Gisa, Glorious Resurrector, and Nighthowler. There are no infinite combos; instead, the deck grinds the table down with graveyard value, theft, and steady drain from Parker Luck and Skirsdag Supplicant. It is a slow, synergy-driven midrange deck whose ceiling depends entirely on how much it can pile into its own graveyard.
