Deck overview

This mono-black Aristocrats deck is commanded by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, focusing on converting creature deaths into card advantage, life drain, and board suppression. The early game establishes resilient sacrifice outlets like Carrion Feeder and Viscera Seer alongside self-recurring creatures such as Gravecrawler, Bloodghast, and Forsaken Miner. Casting Sephiroth on Turn 3 provides immediate card velocity. On Turn 5, the deck achieves four death triggers in a single turn to transform Sephiroth into its One-Winged Angel side, creating an emblem that permanently drains each opponent whenever any creature dies. The deck exerts asymmetric creature control using Grave Pact, Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet, and Maha, Its Feathers Night. It finishes games through compounded blood artist triggers, explosive mana loops powered by Pitiless Plunderer, or lethal burst drain from Gray Merchant of Asphodel.
