Commander: Liliana, Heretical Healer // Liliana, Defiant Necromancer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-black discard-and-reanimation deck helmed by Liliana, Heretical Healer, who flips into Liliana, Defiant Necromancer whenever another nontoken creature dies. The primary game plan is to strip opponents' hands and boards through a suite of Liliana planeswalkers, Tergrid, God of Fright, and edict effects, converting those discards and sacrifices into value via Waste Not, Geth's Grimoire, and Tinybones, Trinket Thief. Meanwhile, Entomb, Buried Alive, and Stitcher's Supplier bin creatures for Reanimate, Animate Dead, Victimize, and Living Death to cheat out bombs like Vilis, Broker of Blood and Sheoldred, Whispering One. The deck closes games through Gray Merchant of Asphodel devotion drain, Kokusho, the Evening Star death triggers, and a massive Torment of Hailfire fueled by Cabal Coffers + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth. A compact Gravecrawler + sac-outlet + Zombie loop provides an infinite engine.
