Deck overview

This Boros artifact-affinity deck is built around Sami, Wildcat Captain, whose affinity ability makes every artifact spell nearly free once the table has a critical mass of artifacts. The primary plan is to quickly assemble a high artifact count, then use the Grinding Station-Spine of Ish Sah loop to mill or ping all opponents, while tutors and card draw keep the combo consistent. Secondary paths include token swarms from Anim Pakal and Threefold Thunderhulk, direct damage from Reckless Fireweaver and Longshot, and massive artifact creatures such as Darksteel Colossus. The commander is the linchpin, but the deck can still function through cost reducers and artifact synergies even without Sami.
