Teysa Karlov Hates Her Fans by Setiq

Format: Commander

Commander: Teysa Karlov

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a classic Orzhov Aristocrats build helmed by Teysa Karlov, who doubles all death triggers. The primary game plan is to establish a sacrifice outlet, generate a steady stream of creature tokens, and repeatedly sacrifice them to drain opponents via Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Cruel Celebrant, and similar effects. The doubling from Teysa turns each death into a significant life swing, and the deck's recursion (Sevinne's Reclamation, Victimize) and card draw engines (Smothering Abomination, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician) ensure it can grind through long games. While the deck lacks compact infinite combos, it leverages high-value synergy loops and overwhelming incremental advantage to close out games.
