Deck overview

This deck is an Angel typal midrange combat deck commanded by Seluma, Light of Aysen. Leveraging Seluma's rulebreaking ability, the deck incorporates Angels across all five colors, including heavy-hitting powerhouses like Atraxa, Grand Unifier, Aurelia, the Warleader, and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight. The strategy focuses on establishing early cost reduction and ramp through pieces like Giada, Font of Hope and Urza's Incubator, transitioning rapidly into a dominating aerial board. Strong lifegain engines such as Righteous Valkyrie and Archangel of Thune inflate creature stats, allowing the deck to create a must-answer lethal state by Turn 5. Seluma, Light of Aysen provides repeatable recursion upon dealing combat damage, generating immense tempo by returning discarded or removed Angels directly into combat. The deck backs up its offensive clock with premier board shielding such as Clever Concealment and Flawless Maneuver, concluding games via overwhelming combat damage or a game-ending Akroma's Will strike.
