Deck overview

This colorless Big Mana deck is commanded by Ultima, Origin of Oblivion, utilizing its static mana-doubling ability to turn every land tapping for colorless mana into two mana. Backed by a dense mana base of 49 lands, the deck guarantees consistent early land drops to deploy Ultima on curve by Turn 5. Once assembled, the resulting 10 to 12 mana available on Turn 6 immediately fuels catastrophic Eldrazi titans such as Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger, Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, and Void Winnower. These high-end threats bring devastating uncounterable cast triggers, massive Annihilator attrition, and asymmetric lockouts that dismantle opposing boards. Secondary engines like Echoes of Eternity, Zhulodok, Void Gorger, and Darksteel Monolith compound this advantage into insurmountable board states. While the deck possesses immense mid-to-late game inevitability, its primary vulnerabilities lie in thin reactive interaction, reliance on natural draws for protection, and early tempo fragility if the commander is removed prior to untapping.
