Milling Mothman by user7778141

Format: Commander

Commander: The Wise Mothman

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The deck is a Sultai mill-combo build that uses The Wise Mothman as an accelerant rather than a necessary piece. Eleven tutor effects find one of several small combos: Bruvac plus kicked Maddening Cacophony, Duskmantle Guildmage plus Mindcrank (with The Master of Lake-town as a backup trigger), or Isochron Scepter plus Dramatic Reversal to untap mana rocks and mill through Codex Shredder or Altar of the Brood. The Wise Mothman adds rad counters to every player, eroding libraries while growing a blocker/beatdown squad. Muldrotha operates as a hidden commander and, with Ashiok, provides recursion; Karn plus Mycosynth Lattice is a lock fallback.
