Deck overview

This is a Dimir control/value deck built around Sephiroth, Planet's Heir, whose ETB -2/-2 sweep clears small blockers and whose death-trigger growth turns him into the primary commander-damage clock. The deck's real engine is multiplication: a dense package of clone effects (Spark Double, Quantum Misalignment, Irenicus's Vile Duplication, Clever Impersonator, Relm's Sketching) and flicker effects (Conjurer's Closet, Displacer Kitten, Ghostly Flicker, Y'shtola Rhul, Blur) re-triggers ETBs and death triggers for compounding value. Secondary win paths are drain through Blood Artist, Massacre Wurm, and Meathook Massacre II, plus theft effects like Visions of Dread and The Darkness Crystal. A counterspell suite (including two free counters) and premium wipes like Toxic Deluge form the control backbone. It is a mid-paced grind deck that needs to assemble its value engine before taking over.
