Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Azorius tempo and aggro deck helmed by Denzilore Fatehold. The strategy focuses on establishing early board presence with low-mana creatures that scry or surveil, such as Silver Raven, April O'Neil, Kunoichi Trainee, and Fear of Surveillance. Once Denzilore enters the battlefield on Turn 4, every scry and surveil action puts +1/+1 counters on the entire team, rapidly turning small utility creatures into formidable evasive threats. The deck leverages high filtering to smooth land drops and maintain steady development. Card advantage engines like Matoya, Archon Elder and Staff of the Storyteller provide mid-game fuel, while interaction like Counterspell, Absorb, and Banishing Betrayal disrupts opposing progress and protects key pieces. The deck wins by accumulating overwhelming board power and attacking over multiple combat phases.
