Deck overview

This deck is a high-power 5-color Dragon Tribal Stompy list piloted by The Ur-Dragon. The game plan utilizes cheap mana dorks, rocks, and the commander's eminence cost reduction to accelerate past the early game. On Turns 3-4, it establishes engines like Temur Ascendancy, Dragon Tempest, or Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, before deploying game-ending Elder Dragons on Turn 5. Cards like Hellkite Courser, Old Gnawbone, Terror of the Peaks, and Utvara Hellkite generate explosive combat swings, overwhelming Treasure generation, and lethal direct damage triggers. The deck protects its proactive game plan with uncounterable effects (Cavern of Souls, Dragonlord Dromoka), countermagic (Swan Song, Stubborn Denial), and blanket phasing (Teferi's Protection), while breaking parity through asymmetric board wipes like Crux of Fate and Avatar's Wrath to cleanly close the game on Turn 6.
