Deck overview

The Mycotyrant commands a Golgari graveyard-centric deck focused on descending through continuous self-mill and sacrifice synergies. By filling the graveyard with creature and permanent cards using Dredge engines, Hermit Druid, and repeatable looting, the deck rapidly inflates The Mycotyrant and spawns an army of Fungus tokens each end step. Victory is achieved through wide combat pushes powered by Beastmaster Ascension, overwhelming life drain from Syr Konrad, the Grim and Ayara, First of Locthwain, or catastrophic bursts of direct damage by sacrificing massive creatures to Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. Strong recursion engines ensure continuous mid-game value and inevitability.
