Deck overview

Grolnok, the Omnivore leads a synergistic Simic Frog tribal and self-mill deck that transforms the exile zone into an expansive second hand. The deck accelerates in the opening turns using efficient mana dorks, rocks, and cheap Frogs to resolve Grolnok by Turn 3 or 4. Whenever Grolnok or another Frog attacks, the deck mills cards and exiles every permanent with a croak counter, making them castable directly from exile. Synergies like Hedge Shredder and Blossoming Tortoise convert milled lands into rapid battlefield acceleration, while Mesmeric Orb rapidly fills exile with resources. The deck closes games on Turn 6 by either resolving an overwhelming Finale of Devastation for X=10 or more to overwhelm the table with hasty, trampling Frogs, or by casting Thassa's Oracle after emptying the library. Free countermagic such as Force of Will and Pact of Negation protects critical win turns while Propaganda deters opposing aggression.
