Deck overview

This mono-blue control and tempo deck is built entirely around face-down permanents, including morph, megamorph, disguise, and manifest mechanics. Led by Ixidor, Reality Sculptor, the deck bypasses high morph costs by using Ixidor's activated ability to flip creatures face up for just three mana, while granting an anthem to face-down attackers. The game plan focuses on establishing early 2/2 mystery threats, utilizing card advantage engines like Aphetto Runecaster and They Came from the Pipes, and disrupting opponents through hidden counterspells and redirection abilities like Willbender and Kheru Spellsnatcher. Decisive board control is achieved through mass creature neutralization such as Ixidron and tempo locks like Brine Elemental. The deck finishes games through wide combat damage buffed by colorless lords and unblockable evasion.
