Deck overview

This deck executes a dedicated polymorph superfriends control strategy led by Jace, Multiverse Architect. By deliberately including only three creature cards in the entire 99—Deepglow Skate, Displacer Kitten, and Spark Double—any mass polymorph effect instantly fetches the complete engine onto the battlefield. Early turns focus on establishing 2-CMC mana rocks and generating expendable creature tokens through enchantments like Bitterblossom and Skrelv's Hive. Once commander Jace or supporting planeswalkers like Teferi, Hero of Dominaria and Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God are deployed, a resolved Mass Polymorph or Synthetic Destiny enters Skate and Spark Double to quadruple loyalty counters immediately. This enables instant ultimates, such as Teferi's emblem and Bolas's game-ending ability. Supported by a dense suite of spot removal, board sweepers, and protective phasing, the deck transitions from defensive resource attrition into a decisive single-turn victory.
