Deck overview

This Dimir Zombie deck pairs Tevesh Szat, Doom of Fools with Sakashima of a Thousand Faces to execute a resilient aristocrats and tribal swarm strategy. The early game focuses on setting up mana acceleration, self-mill engines, and deploying Tevesh Szat on Turn 4 to generate continuous Thrull tokens and draw cards. Mid-game turns transition into stocking the graveyard and establishing Zombie lords like Undead Warchief, Death Baron, and Diregraf Captain. By Turn 6, the deck reaches critical onset by casting massive payoffs such as Army of the Damned, Zombie Apocalypse, or Rooftop Storm. Because tokens enter tapped and lack haste, opponents receive response windows before the deck attacks on Turn 7 with evasive flyers from Eternal Skylord or swampwalk from Zombie Master. Aristocrat drain from Vengeful Dead and Gray Merchant of Asphodel finishes off surviving opponents by Turn 8, providing dependable reach against creature stalemates.
