Deck overview

This Commander deck is a five-color Dragon tribal battlecruiser strategy helmed by Tiamat. The deck focuses on developing mana across all five colors during turns 1 through 5 using basic lands, mana rocks like Arcane Signet, and land-fetching ramp spells. On turn 6, casting Tiamat resolves a powerful enter-the-battlefield trigger that searches five distinct Dragons directly into hand. Starting on turn 7, the deck begins hardcasting lethal airborne payoffs, including Atarka, World Render and Thrakkus the Butcher, which double Dragon power and grant double strike to quickly overwhelm opponents in combat. Because the list relies heavily on basic lands and high mana costs, its execution is deliberate and predictable. While Tiamat provides massive card advantage upon resolution, the deck runs minimal interactive disruption and protection spells, making it vulnerable to well-timed board sweepers.
