Deck overview

The deck builds an Orzhov party board around Burakos, Party Leader and Folk Hero. Burakos, Party Leader counts itself as all four party types, so three additional creatures can complete the party. Once the party is active, attacking creates four Treasures and drains the defending player for four. Folk Hero draws a card once each turn when a shared-type creature spell is cast, while Nalia de'Arnise improves the top of the library and strengthens combat. The list also uses Grim Hireling, Exalted Sunborn, and token payoffs to increase Treasure output. Its main weakness is that the value engine is much easier to assemble than the final kill. Large spells such as Exsanguinate and Torment of Hailfire can convert Treasures into lethal damage, but the deck does not reliably find and protect those spells while maintaining the party. Removal coverage is broad, but acceleration and protection are modest.
